Charlie Rader has been itching to get back in the cage since the end of
The Ultimate Fighter Season 13 on Spike. He was hugely disappointed in his breakout role and has been waiting for an opportunity to show the world and prove to himself that he is an incredible fighter. Now he gets his chance!
Charlie Rader proudly announces that he is fighting on Saturday, August 13th at the Alario Center, located outside of New Orleans in Rader’s native Louisiana. Billed as The Bayou Brawl 4, the fight will be against Lanny Dardar (7-3-0) of Houma, Louisiana for the welterweight title for Prestige Fighting.
This fight pits two worthy competitors each looking to prove to themselves, their fans, and, in Charlie Rader’s case especially, the UFC, that they are prime for the picking. Charlie Rader is a fighter with a strong background in wrestling and a command of kickboxing. Before his turn on
The Ultimate Fighter Charlie Rader boasted a great fight record, but that was wiped out of people’s memory with his loss on the program. Lanny Dardar has a reputation as a tough fighter and has defeated many of the region’s 170-pound top fighters.
Charlie Rader confided in me, “I have a lot to prove to myself and my fans. Everyone will see a new and improved Charlie Rader!” Clearly Charlie Rader’s resolve is honed and he is ready to show his fans, Dana White, Tony Ferguson, and himself that he is indeed a champion. When questioned about his mindset before the fight Lanny Dardar told me, “This is by far the biggest fight of my career and it’s against probably the best fighter in the state. People can expect the same from me as every fight; a lot of action and don’t quit until the fight is over.” Charlie Rader will have his work cut out for him with Lanny Dardar as an opponent. Both fighters are known as strikers. This fight should be explosive!
